Do you agree with young people having a therapet?

In a recent local news article, "Therapets go into hospitals and hospices around Edinburgh and provide comfort and companionship to animal loving patients - as well as a welcome distraction from their surroundings", (Edinburgh Live, 26.08.21)

Almost all of the MHP young people have a pet and seem to manage the additional responsibility well. The unconditional love that the animals offer seems to bring some ease to the individual’s life during the transition into independent living. Although this has occurred, the young tenants have communicated with their allocated Housing Officer's to request permission and keep in line with their tenancy agreement.
