Luxury housing for on of the Midlothian young people

A very delighted yonug person accessed their new home for the first time and were delighted. This young person moved from residential into their own home and what a house to be offered. The young person walked about the house and spoke about all thier plans on how they wanted it to look and how was going to help. The young person also spoke about this being them set up for their future and could see children and a family being in this home. One delighted young person. Thanks Midlothian Council Housing department.

Not only did they address the conference but they got to hear from Local House Project staff and young people on how they are working together to improve the way in which young people leave care and how this meets the commitments made in The Promise in 2020.
